Riverside Center is located at 231 East Monroe, Decatur, Indiana. Riverside Center has many amenities to offer. There
sand volleyball courts in the back, a Rose Garden in front, and a gazebo along the River
Greenway. Riverside Center hosts many events sponsored by the
Decatur-Adams County Parks & Recreation Department and many provided by outside agencies. We also have extensive programming for Senior Citizens . For more information on any of

 Unleash your Creativity
Join us on Thursday mornings at as Janice Reifsnider instructs our painting class. This class meets at 9:00
A.M. to Noon, usually in the Garden
Room. Whether you need to learn new techniques to enhance your skills or if you're just beginning, this class is for you! Janice instructs
in the oil, acrylics, and watercolor media. For more information call 724-2520.

Craft Class
Join Diane Macklin for craft classes at Riverside Center on Sept. 2 & 4(make
a votive candle holder) Sept. 3 (Add tiny drop beads to a delicate link necklace
and earrings to match). Sept. 9 (Make your own unique chunky polymer clay
necklace). Sept. 10 (Make 12 polymer clay roses. Seeing is believing, just
beautiful. Many colors to choose from. Sept. 16 & 18 Take a wooden keepsake box
and create a pretty mosaic picture on top using stained glass pieces. Sept. 15
String your own beautiful pearl bracelet using 2 strands of glass pearls and
crystals. Sept. 22 & 24 (Make beautiful wind chimes using polymer clay. We will
use real leaves as a design or a couple of 2 x 3 stamps. Sept. 29 (Make 6 pair of changeable drops to add to a pair of sterling
silver or gold filled hoops).
You must pre-register for all classes one week prior to class.

Rubber Stamping
If you like to use Rubber Stamps to make greeting cards and crafts, come to Riverside Center the first Thursday of each
month 6:30p.m.. Share your
secrets and learn new techniques.
BASKET WEAVING - Come Join Us. - Sponsored by:
Decatur Parks and Recreation
Held on the 1st Mon. of the month at 5:30p.m. Enjoy the art of basket
weaving. Supplies and instruction are included in the fee. The Fee for
this class is determined by the size of the basket the class will be making.

Flea Market
Held on the 1st Sunday of the month. The Coin Club sponsors this event.
Admission is free and doors open at 8:00a.m. To rent a table call Dorothy

Healthy & Easy Cooking:
Join us for an enjoyable morning of cooking. We will discuss "healthy
cooking ideas". At the end of class you will get a copy of and sample the
recipes of the day. Held on the 3rd Wednesday of the month during Mar., April,
May, June, Aug., Sept., Oct. and Nov. Admission Free

Take It Easy
Come join Agnes Miller for a non-aerobic
exercise class. Held at Riverside Center on M-W-F from 9:00 - 9:45a.m.
Fee: $21.00 or $2.00 daily. Runs from Jan. 6 - May 2 and Oct. 29 - Nov. 21. Call

Good health is not a destination, but a journey, and the journey begins here! A non-aerobic exercise class designed to firm and strengthen
