| Court
appearances are not required for any of the above offenses. The court
appearance date that appears at the bottom of the ticket is when payment
needs to be received by the clerk's office. A two week extension can be
given one time by calling the clerks office.
If you want to protest your ticket in traffic court, you will need to call 765-793-6228 on Tuesday or Wednesday between 8:00AM -12:00PM to set up a traffic hearing. For information about the infraction deferral program, call the Fountain County Prosecutor's office at 765-793-2411 Monday through Friday 8:00AM-4:00PM Mandatory Court appearance: Accidents, Driving under the influence, reckless driving, leaving the scene of an accident. misdemeanors. Any violation that is not listed - call the clerks office for fines and costs. |
