Children's Immunizations are offered through the Hancock County Health Department Clinic. These are provided for children from birth to 18 years of age. The following is a chart of the immunization schedule as required by the State of Indiana. Immunization Schedule 2001
Children's Immunizations are by appointment. We schedule every fifteen minutes starting at 8:15am until 3:15pm on Tuesday and Wednesday of each week. Call (317) 462-1128 for an appointment. Immunization Records are available for those persons who have received their shots as our clinic. There is a $.25 charge for each. Tetanus Shots are available from the Health Clinic at no charge. This is by appointment also, call (317) 462-1128 for an appointment. An MMR Clinic and HEP B Clinic is scheduled for 5th graders going into 6th grade each fall. Please call for an appointment. Free Pregnancy Testing - the testing is administered at the Health Clinic. This is done by appointment. Please call (317) 462-1128 for an appointment. There is no charge for this service. You may also obtain free pregnancy tests at Crisis Pregnancy Center. Call 467-9700 for more information.
TB Testing is administered at the Health Clinic. The tests cost is $1.00 for children and $2.00 for adults. These tests are read in 48 hours. This makes it necessary for you to return two days later for the results if the skin test. These tests are scheduled accordingly. Please call the clinic for more information

Q: What do I need to get my birth certificate? A: Written request with all birth information, identification and check or money order for the amount depending on the number of certificates ordered. Q: What do birth certificates cost? A: $3.00 each, $1.00 extra for lamination. Q: What do death certificates cost? A: $4.00 each Q: Who may obtain my birth certificate? A: Self, parent, grandparents, brother or sister, must be 18 years old and provide their ID. Q: How long does is take to get a birth certificate? A: If you come into the office, they are issued while you wait. If you request by mail, it will be sent out the day we receive it in our office. Q: Do I have a choice of sizes for birth certificates? A: Yes, billfold or regular half sheet size. Q: Are there any salary requirements for getting immunizations at the Health Clinic.
